U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs receives Mr. Chen Hai, Ambassador of China

U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr. Chen Hai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at 1130 hrs on 23 March 2023 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping, the successful outcomes of Chinese People’s political consultative conference (CPPCC) and 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China in 2023,the maintenance of peace and stability along the border area between Myanmar and China, and China’s continuous constructive support towards Myanmar development endeavor and for the success of the repatriation and resettlement of displaced persons from Rakhine State as well as further enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation both at regional and international arena.
